As a lover of all things 80's, Claire Howe has long dreamed of organizing a totally immersive New Wave and 1980's weekender, and at long last it's happening!
Through interactive experiences, live shows, and curated vendors, VHS celebrates ‘80s aesthetics, music, fashion, and physical media - especially New Wave and Post Punk.
This is an opportunity to escape day-to-day life and build a community of fellow 80's nostaglics that will endure for years to come. So it’s extremely important that VHSers feel safe and welcome. That means no violence, threatening behavior, hate speech, slurs, or animal exploitation. Please watch out for and be most excellent to each other.
Now, let's meet the crew that'll be taking you back to the 80's!

I am an 80s sci-fi, action movie enthusiast with a moody synth soundtrack running in my head. Claire introduced me to New Wave when she drove us to a desert goth club in high school, and it’s been a love of mine ever since.

As a kid in the 80's and 90's, I was a band nerd - but like, a cool one - and skateboarder. Not much has changed! Can't wait to make VHS a reality with my wife (and mother to our weiner dog son) Claire, and unstoppa-Bill. VHS is gonna RULE!
